[ARCHIVED] Virtual Village Meetings

Under Executive Order No. 20-69, issued by the Office of Governor Ron Desantis on March 20, 2020, municipalities may conduct meetings of their governing boards without having a quorum of its members present physically or at any specific location, and utilizing communications media technology such as telephonic or video conferencing, as provided by Section 120.54(5)(b)2, Florida Statutes.

Meetings will be held at the Village of Palm Springs - Village Hall located at 226 Cypress Lane, Palm Springs, Florida. A Physical Access Point open to the public will be made available. In keeping with the Centers for Disease (CDC) and the Florida Department of Health guidelines on social distancing, and limiting public gatherings to less than ten (10) persons, once a Physical Access Point reaches capacity, another Physical Access Point will be opened to the public.

The Village of Palm Springs will provide for public participation through, a communication media technology (teleconference). Interested persons may attend by using the following information. Please join the meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone.

The Village has come up with ways of ensuring public comment(s) for our virtual meetings.

  • Email the Village Clerk, Kimberly Wynn, at The Village Clerk will present public comments into the record at the meeting. If you do not receive a response email from the Village Clerk, assume that it was not received and follow up with a phone call to Village Hall at (561) 434-5084.
  • Persons may go to Village Hall to an available Physical Access Point and make public comment when the item is announced.
