[ARCHIVED] Help Students With Reading!

End of the year celebration of PALS Mentoring program with volunteers and staff who made it possible

Do you want to make a difference in the life of a child? Become a PALS Mentor!

The PAL (Police Athletic League) educational program is coordinated through Village Community Police. It is an annual Mentoring Program that meets in the Village library from January 21 to April 1, 2020. The program meets Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and is seeking a few mentors to volunteer as reading tutors. The program has a coordinator who will provide the volunteers with instructions on what to do, so no prior teaching experience is required. You only need a friendly attitude, as you will be working with children.

The program mentors assist first grade students with reading skills. If interested, please contact Indira Saffatir-Bertarioni , Volunteer Coordinator at or the Library Director, Suvi Manner at .
