Posted on: December 21, 2018[ARCHIVED] Annual Library Bookmark Contest is NOW Open!
The 2019 Bookmark Contest is now open! All entries are due at the library by Saturday, February 2nd. It is
open to children in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade who reside in Palm Springs. The annual contest was traditionally held in honor of National Library Week but has been moved due to testing schedule at teachers request. The contest sponsored by the Library and the Friends of the Library. Its purpose is
to promote awareness and interest in libraries, books and reading.
The applications can be picked up at the library and will be delivered
to the area schools. Parents are responsible for filling out their
contact information on the application in order to be notified! The
Bookmark Contest Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, February
27, 2019. This is your chance to take photos of the winners with the
Mayor.
