[ARCHIVED] Items Desperately Needed for Panhandle Police Officers/Families

There has been a request for desperately needed items to help the police officers and their families that were affected by Hurricane Michael. The main items needed are:
  • Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc. (toiletries)
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Undergarments (male and female)
  • Towels, washcloths
  • Baby and sanitizing wipes
If you have any of these items that you would like to donate, we have set up bins in the POLICE DEPARTMENT LOBBY and the LIBRARY.

The items must be dropped off by noon this Thursday, 10/18. At that point, we will take whatever we collect to the receiving facility in Fort Lauderdale and from there it will be taken to the Panhandle for distribution.

We must be very thankful because we have been extremely lucky that we have not been as affected by hurricanes as they were. Please remember that those officers are still working and trying to take care of their families, regardless of the conditions, so anything you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
