[ARCHIVED] We're Having a Mini-Walk & Community Sale to Help End Alzheimer's Disease!

Alzheimers Mini-Walk.jpg
On Saturday, November 11th, from 7:00 am - 11:00 am, friends and residents of the Village of Palm Springs will gather together to walk 4 laps around Village Hall (equating to 1 mile) in their support of the Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease. More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and it is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States.

We're collecting $7 per adult (children are free) to register for this event. All funds collected are donated to the Alzheimer's Association. Advance registration can be made at the Parks and Recreation Department and registrations include a t-shirt, bottle of water, and snack item. We are also hosting a Community Sale during the Mini-Walk! Clean out your closets and earn some cash during a busy Saturday morning in Palm Springs! Spaces for the Sale are $20 and can be made in advance at the Library.

Please contact Leanna Collazo, Special Events Program Supervisor at (561) 434-5110 or via email at for more information.
