To ensure that our roads are safe and in good repair we will be repaving a number of residential streets within the Village over the next several weeks. Beginning on Saturday August 26th a Village contractor, Ranger Construction, will be repaving the streets listed below and shown in the attached map.

August 26th - Begin milling of Phase I roads
August 28th - Alemeda Dr. from Sylvia Ln. to Kirk Rd.
August 29th - Gulfstream Rd. from Cypress Ln. to Alemeda Dr.
August 30th - September 1st - Inglewood Dr., Palo Alto Dr., Los Altos Rd., Fontana Dr., San Fernando Dr., Santa Anna Dr., San Mateo Dr.
September 5th - 6th - Andros Rd., Barbados Dr., Jamaica Dr., Morgans Way, Tortuga Rd.
September 7th - 8th - Apalachee Rd., Muscogee Rd., Seminole Rd.
September 11th - Cayman Dr.
September 12th - Elizabeth St. and Riedel Ave.
September 13th - Dale Rd. from Gulfstream Rd. to Donald Rd.
September 14th - Forest Lane
September 15th, 22nd - 26th - Russell Dr., Granada Ct., Rex Ct., Henthorne Dr., Poe Dr., Emerson Ave., Carol Ave.

The repaving process will include the milling (removal) of old pavement and installation of new asphalt in its place. Each street will take several days to finish. We do not anticipate having to close any roads to complete the work, however, please obey the flagmen as they direct traffic around the work crews and proceed slowly and safely when directed to.

During this time, your garbage service may be affected. If a pickup day is missed because of the construction Republic Services, the Village hauler, will pick up your garbage on the next scheduled service day.

You can find an updated schedule on the Village website at www.vpsfl.org. Thank you for your patience while this project is going on. We look forward to continuing to make the Village of Palm Springs “A Great Place to Call Home”.
