[ARCHIVED] "How To Get Published" this Saturday April 22, 10-Noon

Are you writing stories, poems, or essays, and seeking publication in magazines? Lynne Barrett, the author of "What Editors Want: A Must-Read for Writers Submitting to Literary Magazines" will be at the library to teach you how to get published and share information about how authors research and evaluate markets. You will get tips on helpful resources, organizing your process, keeping good records, following submission directions, what belongs (and doesn't) in cover letters and bios, and how to handle rejections, acceptances, and publication.

This event is sponsored by the Cream Literary Alliance and it is this Saturday, April 22nd from 10-Noon. Preregister by calling the library at 965-2204 or e-mailing events@vpslibrary.net .
