The Palm Springs Police Department, in conjunction with Shred-It, proudly announce a Shred Event/Canned Food Drive to be held on Friday, November 18 at 5 pm at the Palm Springs ball fields (behind the police department). Fraud and Identity theft are crimes of opportunity and are on the rise so properly shredding important documents you no longer need to keep is important. Deter thieves by shredding sensitive material and safeguarding your personal information. It is requested that a donation of 4 non-perishable items be made for each box/bag of documents to be shredded. The food will benefit local families in need.

Then later, we will be hosting a Family Movie Night at the same location.  Children can enjoy the bounce house and other fun activities. Bring a picnic dinner or enjoy our popcorn and refreshments. The "Finding Dory” movie will begin at around 7 pm. Bring your family and your lawn chairs or blankets and join us in another fun night for the family. We hope to see you there!
