[ARCHIVED] Village Council to Determine $99,365 CDBG Grant Project

The Phase 1 improvements to the currently vacant parcel tentatively include park design, paved parking area, playground, walking trail, site furnishings, landscaping and park signage. As an "Entitlement City", the Village has been informed that it will receive $99,365 for a qualified CDBG grant project. As a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the selected project must 1) benefit low and moderate persons, 2) include a public facility in need of repair or replacement, including ADA and accessibility improvements, and/or 3) aid in the elimination of blight. A project must be selected, and a supplement filed with Palm Beach County on April 15th.
