U.S. Surgeon General Vivek H. Murthy spoke with media, and toured FoundCare’s health center, following a listening session where Surgeon General Murthy met with community stakeholders, faith leaders, public health officials, and leaders from sectors such as urban planning, parks and recreation, and law enforcement to discuss key health issues, the Affordable Care Act and public health issues that are facing Palm Beach County.
This was the tenth stop on a cross-country listening tour. The sessions were held at FoundCare, a community health center in Palm Springs.
