Let your creative juices run wild and enter the first Pumpkin Decorating Contest in Palm Springs. Participants of all ages are welcomed to enter their masterpiece creation in the contest.
Have your pick from using a real pumpkin or a fake pumpkin, and your preferred decorating medium (paint, glitter, etc.). Pumpkin carvings are also welcomed!
All submissions will be exhibited at the “Halloween Spook-tacular” being held on Wednesday, October 29th at the Basketball Courts from 5:30-8:30 PM.
Submission: Please bring your completed submission form (see below) and pumpkin to the Leisure Services office on October 27th – October 28th between the hours or 8 AM- 8 PM. All participants who enter the contest will earn a treat bag for their efforts.
Please keep in mind, if you would like your pumpkin returned to you, you must pick it up at 8:20 PM at the exhibition area. All unclaimed pumpkins will be discarded after the event.
Judging: The panel of judges selected to judge the Halloween costume contest will select one winning pumpkin, based on creative efforts and overall appearance. The winner will be contacted by phone/email on Thursday, October 30, 2014.
Prize: The winning pumpkin will appear in the Village of Palm Springs newsletter and the winner will be issued a prize.
