From 3 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, May 22, the Palm Springs Police Department, in conjunction with Safe Kids and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, will be hosting a “Take 25” event to promote child safety. The event's goal is to raise awareness of the issues surrounding missing and exploited children. The "Take 25" Campaign encourages parents, guardians, educators and others to take 25 minutes to talk to children about safety. With a focus on prevention, Take 25 provides free safety resources to keep children safe and we will have staff available to assist with child safety seat installation. Stop by the Walgreens at 1780 S. Congress Avenue and learn how to keep your children safe.
