Preparing for Water Connection at your Property

Prior to establishing service, ensure all fixtures within the property are in the off position. The Village of Palm Springs is not liable for any flooding, or damages that may occur due to open fixtures on the premises when water service is turn on.

To avoid damages to the property, Utilities Field Technicians will turn the water back off at the meter and leave a door notice, in the event they see water flowing through your meter when they perform the initial turn-on.

If the water is turned-off at the meter due open fixtures or water running through the meter, the turn-on will need to be rescheduled for the next available business day. Rescheduled services for unprepared properties will incur an additional service charge.
