Annual Bookmark Contest

The 2020 Bookmark Contest will open December 2, 2019! All entries are due at the library by Saturday, January 25, 2020. The annual contest was traditionally held in honor of National Library Week but has been moved due to testing schedule at teachers request. The contest  is sponsored by the Library and the Friends of the Library. It is open to children in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Its purpose is to promote awareness and interest in libraries, books and reading.

The applications can be picked up at the library and will be delivered to the area schools. Parents are responsible for filling out their contact information on the application in order to be notified! The Bookmark Contest Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26, 6:30 p.m. 2020. This is your chance to take photos of the winners with the Mayor.
