The Library Board was established by Section 2-96 of the Village Code of Ordinances.
The Library Board supports the Library Director and Staff and recommends improvements to expand library services including programs and activities that will best serve the residents. Applicants for this board must be village residents.
If interested in serving on the board, please request a copy of the board application through the Village Clerks office to serve your community. There are several vacancies.
Meetings shall be held the third Tuesday of the month, with the exception of June, July, August, and December, when meetings are not held. (Bylaws, Article VI, Section 1). The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, at 6:30pm.
