Hurricane Preparedness & Local Weather
If you are new to this area or have been living in South Florida your entire life, it is critical that you are prepared for hurricane season. Visit the Hurricane Center at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) website so you can stay on top of the current information or check out our current local weather to plan your day.
Budget
The village operates on an October 1 to September 30 fiscal year and we adopt a budget annually for the General Fund, Debt Service Fund, and Water and Sewer Enterprise Fund. The current adopted budget is available for your request through the Finance Department along with the previous fiscal year adopted budgets.

Events, Calendar & Newsletter
Throughout the year, the village has special events, including the holiday decorating contest, Santa's Sleigh Ride, sidewalk art, Easter egg hunt, Independence Day fireworks and activities, Halloween activities, library bookmark contest, local government week,and Medieval Fayre.

Volunteer
Are you looking to make a contribution to your community? Consider serving as a volunteer. Check out our various volunteer opportunities, serve on a board or committee, coach a team, become a community police patrol, or assist with the Police Athletic League. Village Parks & Facilities
The village has a variety of parks, ball fields, basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts, and a miniature golf course.One of the most popular parks is our water splash pad.To find out about all our parks and facilities, see our Facilities and Parks page.
Village Scholarship
In memory of Joseph Fallon, the Village offers scholarship(s) each year to graduating high school seniors that live in the village.If you are interested additional information, see the Village Scholarship page.
